The skin care industry is a multi-million dollar business. Just look to what length people will go to improve their appearance…from Botox to going under the knife…the desire to retain a youthful appearance as we aged for some becomes a top priority. I remember browsing around the cosmetic counter of a local department store looking at  some of the products that made claims to restore ones youthful appearance that had been lost to years and other environmental damage. I was shocked at the cost of some of these potions… $80, $90 even some over $100. I thought…if that was my only option I guess I had to get use to a few wrinkles and just view them as one of the “joys of aging”. At least until I learned of the restorative power that cleansing the skin with ionized acidic water could do for you.

The skin is an acidic organ. Skin washed with ionized acidic water on a regular basis will have a younger appearance than washing it with hard water. Acidic water works as an astringent and will help clear us excess bacteria on the skin so is an excellent choice for someone who has problematic skin and/or acne.

During the warm weather months acidic ionized water will help reduce the inflammation and itch cause by insect bites and other skin irritations caused by contact with irritating agents (i.e. poison ivy). For those battle scars from the outdoor activities our little ones engage in (cuts, scraps and abrasions) acidic water is a great antiseptic.

Acidic water can be a great conditioner for the hair and a mouthwash to help remove plaque after brushing the teeth (VERY IMPORTANT – DO NOT DRINK…ONLY RINSE).

Washing fruits, fish, meats and vegetables with acidic water will help to kill bacteria.

If you are a gardener that has problems with fungal infection of your roses, acidic water will help reduce the fungal growth. Of course if you cut your roses to enjoy fresh flowers in the home, cut flowers last longer in acidic water.

There are just too many good reasons to have a water ionizer in your home as a tool to help promote good health.

Let me hear back from you on your healthier living plan.
